PCC NEWBERG TO OFFER ADVISING SESSIONS FOR WINTER 2011 TERM

PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Community College got off to a roaring start in Newberg this fall, enrolling more than 300 students who currently take a variety of credit and non-credit courses.

Such early success has encouraged college administrators to set advising sessions for students interested in taking courses in the winter 2011 term. Advising sessions are confirmed for the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 10 – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 17 – 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Each session takes approximately 30 minutes and can cover a range of questions and topics – placement testing, admissions, financial aid and more.

To set an advising appointment, contact Mike Meade, PCC’s Start Lab coordinator in Newberg, at (971) 722- 8603. To view courses to be taught in the winter 2011 term in Newberg, visit www.pcc.edu/newberg.

Registration for continuing students starts Nov. 19. For new degree-seeking students, registration begins Nov. 23; for new non-degree seeking students, it begins Nov. 24.
