Rock Creek Campus bond information session Nov. 8
Photos and story by Meryl Lipman
Rock Creek Campus needs to hear from its neighboring businesses, residents, schools, concerned citizens as well as its students, faculty and staff about how they would like to see the campus designed. This is your chance to be part of the planning process.
PCC staff and bond officials will discuss bond-funded campus redesign options presented over the last year of campus planning. This event is free and open to the public and to the campus community.
Rock Creek is hosting an Open House from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 8, Event Center (Building 9), Rock Creek Campus, 17705 NW Springville Rd.
5:30 p.m. – Open House, light snacks will be served.
6 p.m. – Presentation, Opsis Architecture on: Types of building redesigns/improvements/new construction, information gathering process, guiding principles, proposed campus options and proposed improved evacuation routes.
6:30-7 p.m.- Q&A
In addition to a presentation by opsis architecture and the PCC Bond staff, community members will have a chance to view and weigh in on the four proposed options and discuss critical issues such as building placement, second exit (to 185th Ave.), parking, and traffic flow.
