Oregon Transfer Days gives students a path to four-year schools

A statewide partnership is making transfer opportunities from two- to four-year colleges easier for local community college students.
Students at Portland Community College and elsewhere can learn about benefits and degrees available by transferring to a four-year college or university through the Oregon Transfer Days. Representatives from the community college, and public and private four-year universities will be on hand to educate students on baccalaureate opportunities and services. The Oregon Transfer Days tour will go to all community colleges in the state through January and February.
The PCC schedule includes:
Rock Creek Campus, 17705 N.W. Springville Road
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15, Mall Area of Building 3.
Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16, Upper Mall, College Center.
Cascade Campus, 705 N. Killingsworth St.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, Student Center.
Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd and Division St.
4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, Tabor Hall.
More than 30 universities and colleges will be on hand to discuss their school’s majors, transfer requirements and procedures as well as funding and financial aid possibilities.
