Rep. Shawn Lindsay takes over House District 30, formerly held by Rep. David Edwards, who dropped out of the Legislature in 2010 to concentrate on his career. Lindsay, R-Hillsboro, is an attorney with the law firm Lane Powell. He also is a fourth-generation Oregonian.
Rep. Julie Parrish now serves House District 37, a seat once held by Rep. Scott Bruun before his 2010 race for U.S. Congress. Parrish, R-West Linn, has not yet posted a biography on her website.
