Blog: Town hall set at Southeast Center

Photos and story by

A reminder that the PCC Southeast Center will play host this week to a town hall for local lawmakers.

The event is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, at the Southeast Center, 82nd Avenue and Division Street. Participants will include State Sen. Jackie Dingfelder, Senate District 23, along with Reps. Michael Dembrow, House District 45, and Ben Cannon, District 46.

In Oregon, two House districts fit within the same borders as each Senate district; Reps. Cannon and Dembrow serve the same constituents, together, as Sen. Dingfelder.

The town hall is free and open to the public. It is scheduled for Mount Tabor Rooms 139 and 140.

These are great events if you want the time to speak directly to an elected official, either to express your opinion or to seek theirs. Who could pass that up?
