Heart Beat Fair comes to Sylvania Feb. 9

The American Heart Association designated February as “American Heart Month.” To support that effort, the Sylvania Campus is hosting its third annual Heart Beat Health Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 9, Upper Mall of the College Center.
The fair will feature a variety of activities and subjects hosted by several of PCC’s allied health departments: free blood pressure screenings; oral health info; images of heart anatomy; body mass and ratio tests; cardiac rehabilitation; fats and the caffeine content of energy drinks; childhood obesity and healthy eating tips for children; and Baby Boomer health.
The event is free of charge and open to the public, all faculty, staff and students.
