PCC president testifies before Legislature

Preston Pulliams, president of Portland Community College, testifies Thursday, Feb. 3, before legislators representing both the Oregon House and Senate. The topics of his testimony included proposed governance changes for higher education in the state, as well as a plan to increase the percentage of Oregonians obtaining post-secondary degrees. Among the lawmakers in the hearing was Rep. Michael Dembrow, left, who also teaches at the PCC Cascade Campus.
