Blog: Town Hall set for Rep. Smith

State Rep. Jefferson Smith his hosting a town hall meeting this week. It’s set to start at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at the East Portland Community Center, 740 S.E. 196th Ave.
Smith is co-vice-chairman of the General Government and Consumer Protection Committee, and Co-Vice Chairman of the General Government Sub-Committee of the budget-writing Ways & Means Committee. He’s also a guy who genuinely is open to hearing what constituents have to say about the issues of the day.
His District 47 is east of Interstate 205 and south of Interstate 84. It’s the district that used to be served by Jeff Merkley, before he made his move to Congress.
