The Rocky Mountain/Cascade region of Phi Theta Kappa honor society was well represented this year at the International Convention in Seattle Wash., with more than 75 regional members in attendance. PCC was proud to have 11 members and 5 advisors there in order to experience the leadership and the energy of the conference.

The main topic of the conference was, “Commit to Completion.” A campaign focused at encouraging community college students to complete their degrees.

“We at PCC’s Sylvania Campus are dedicated to continuing to carry this important message to students throughout PCC,” said Chelsea Campbell, PCC student and Alpha Eta Iota Chapter Communications Director. “We want to see students succeed in their college careers as well as in life as they continue to move forward.”

PTK is seeking more students to get involved and join the international honor society, which offers leadership and development opportunities. The PTK office is in Rooms 101/102, College Center Building.
