‘Better Living Through Chemistry in the 21st Century‘- a chemistry fair

The Fourth Annual Rock Creek Chemistry Fair, held in the Event Center of Building 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, May 13, is a showcase for all 580 students in chemistry on the Rock Creek Campus. Staff, faculty and students are welcomed to check out what the chemistry students have been working on.
Students will show their poster presentations based on theme topics for each chemistry course. These include fragrances and flavors for Chemistry 100, sustainability for Chemistry 104 and 105, pharmaceuticals and nutrition for Chemistry 106, environmental chemistry for Chemistry 221, nanochemistry and advanced materials for Chemistry 222 and 223, and a variety of other topics relevant to the impact that chemistry has had on our lives.
