One-Act Festival draws attention to students’ skills

Photos and story by

The PCC Sylvania Theatre program presents its 26th annual Student One Act Festival. This year, students have three ten minute plays. Each play is written, directed, designed, acted, crewed and otherwise by PCC theatre students, all of whom have taken classes in scriptwriting, acting and design.

“I just watched the first dress rehearsal, and can say without hyperbole that these are the best short plays that I have seen anywhere in years,” said program director Patrick Tangredi. “Please join us in celebrating this exceptional student work.”

All of the 45-minute performances will be held in the Little Theatre (CT Building, Sylvania Campus):

  • 11 a.m., Thursday, June 2
  • 7 p.m., Friday, June 3
  • Noon, Saturday, June 4

Tickets are $5 at the door. No reservations are necessary, but  latecomers will not be admitted.
