Blog: Dembrow, Dingfelder host coffee

Photos and story by

Rep. Michael Dembrow has set his final constituent coffee of the 2011 legislative session from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at Mt. Hood Community College’s Maywood Park campus.

The campus is at Northeast 102nd Avenue and Prescott. The town hall is set for Room 223.

State Sen. Jackie Dingfelder will be on hand, too.

Topics will include updates on bills and budgets, including the possibility of adding more money to the K-12 budget, where lawmakers stand with the Department of Human Services, kicker reform, tuition equity and the potential fate of a ban on bisphenol-A, a potentially endocrine-disrupting chemical. Constituents can bring up any other topics as well.

The Legislature is on track to finish this session in June, so this will be one of the last opportunities to ask elected officials your questions. Don’t pass it up.
