Rep. Margaret Doherty, District 35

One of the Legislature’s newest members, Rep. Margaret Doherty of Tigard, is ending the session with a pair of public events.

Doherty replaced Larry Galizio, formerly an instructor at PCC, who stepped down in 2009. Her District 35 is due west of the Sylvania Campus.

She is hosting a “Constituent Coffee” from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Portland Bagel Company, 9802 Southwest Shady Lane off Greenburg Road in Tigard.

Then, she and Co-Speaker of the House Arnie Roblan take part in a Town Hall from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at Tigard City Hall, 13125 SW Hall Blvd.

Both events are free and open to the public.
