Photos and story by

After several days of technological woes involving Portland Community College’s telephones, e-mail, online services and registration, staff appears to have solved most of the glitches. However, as of Friday afternoon, systems still are functioning intermittently.

For students worried about the impact on the first week of fall term, Registration windows will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Cascade, Rock Creek and Sylvania campuses, and at the Southeast Center. Staff will be available to assist students and faculty who may have questions.
