The PCC Cascade Gallery is proud to present an installation by Portland-based sculptor, Mylan Rakich, which will be on display through Thursday, Nov. 17. You maybe familiar with his steel sculpture that is located between Student Services and Moriarty Arts and Humanities buildings on the Cascade Campus. He was PCC Art Beat’s 2007 featured artist.

Rakich’s works are primarily large scale steel fabrications that are lyrical and incorporate the industrial and natural worlds. In his piece, “FROSTING,” the artist departs from his usual means of working to experient with installation, new materials and themes. He is represented by Butters Gallery in Portland and his sculptures are in public and private collections.

The Cascade Gallery is located in Room 102, Terrell Hall. For more information about the exhibition or the gallery, please contact Sam Morgan at (971) 722-5326 or email cascade.gallery@pcc.edu.
