The Portland Community College Medical Assisting Students will be hosting a Community Health Screening Fair from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 23 at the Willow Creek Campus. This event is free and open to the public.  All PCC students and employees are welcome to attend.

In addition to the free screening services, there will be educational handouts created by the Medical Assistant Program students on important healthcare topics, and each participant may enter a free raffle to win a first aid kit.

Services will include:

  • Blood pressure checks
  • Hearing tests
  • Near and distance vision tests
  • Color vision tests

The health fair provides second term Medical Assisting Program students with the opportunity to provide basic screening services to the community. Last year’s event was attended by more than 150 people.
