Knock, knock. Who is there? A humor book from a PCC instructor.

That may not have been funny, but Michael Dolan’s book, “Funny Business: Putting Humor in Your Writing,” will give you the wit and sparkle that your writing deserves. Dolan, who has taught business communications in the Management and Supervisory Development department for 26 years as adjunct faculty, extensively expanded and re-issued the book.

“Funny Business” is available for all electronic devices, showing readers how to add humor to emails and reports without getting into trouble.  Chapters include The Basics of a Working Joke; Why Humor is a Good Idea at Work; The Secret to Puns; and Science Discovers Keys to Humor.

“The book comes directly from teaching at PCC and training at many job sites,” said Dolan. “People asked me to cover humor. The topic is actually quite delicate so I promised I would get them something someday.”  T

“Funny Business” is available for Kindle and all other formats.
