PCC community rallies behind college’s float at Starlight Parade
PCC participated in the Starlight Parade last Saturday, June 2. The Theater Department work transformed the giant 50th Anniversary cake into an illuminated float that traveled the streets of downtown Portland. Fifty representatives from PCC, including staff, students, retirees and alumni, marched in the parade alongside the float.

For those who helped at the parade, do we get our volunteer hours recorded, Do we need to submit our hour individually? I know some of us was there from 6 to 10:45 p.m.

What an amazing opportunity to represent PCC and to meet, and reacquaint with others. I loved it!
