On Tuesday, Oct. 30, close to 300 people attended the Community Fall Fest at the Southeast Center to break ground on campus bond construction and welcome the new Southeast Center/Extended Learning Campus President Jessica Howard. U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley, Congressman Earl Blumenauer and State Rep. Michael Dembrow were just some of the invited guests. Read the full recap story of the event.

Is this why tution keeps going up? Constructions, paving and uprooting trees to do this. The current campus is fine. STOP more costs in this economy!!!

Funding for bond construction like Southeast comes from the 2008 voter-approved bond measure and not from tuition or fees. The center is the fastest growing location in PCC and hence is tight on space. The expansion will enhance and grow services for the community and students.
