Latino Health Equity Conference on May 10

Photos and story by

The Rock Creek Career Resource Center is hosting the 2013 Latino Health Equity Conference on Friday, May 10. The conference is provided by Familias en Acción. There are scholarships for students interested in health careers to attend the conference free of charge.

The Latino Health Equity Conference provides a forum to focus on individual and community pathways to health equity through research, programs and policies. The interactive annual conference serves an important role in bridging the gap between health research/practice and Latinos to develop strategies for health equity. Two PCC Faculty members will also present at the conference.
