PCC is on a roll in the financial reporting game – winning a key national award for the 21st straight year. College President Jeremy Brown (far right) and Board Chair Denise Frisbee (middle right) presented the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement Award to, left to right, Sally Gregory (Financial Reporting Manager), Jim Crofts (Accounting Services Manager) and Jim Langstraat (Associate VP of Finance). The award was showed off at the last board of director’s meeting Thursday, Aug. 15 at the Sylvania Campus. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management. The GFOA oversees governmental reporting in the United Sates and Canada.
