Portland State University brought the classroom to the construction site last month when they toured the in-progress Student Center and Academic Building at PCC’s Cascade Campus.

Lead by PCC Cascade Campus Bond Program contractors Hoffman Construction and architects THA Architecture, PSU’s Building Technology students learned how the ground-breaking design of the Student Center and Academic building went from architectural ideas to concrete reality.

Read more about the tour on the THA Architecture blog.

PCC’s 2008 voter-approved $374 million bond program is increasing opportunities for residents to access quality, affordable higher education close to where they live and work. Additional classrooms, updated equipment and technology, and advanced workforce training programs are helping to pave the way for future employment options.
