Dave Coulter is headed back to NASA.

Portland State University student and Portland Community College alum Dave Coulter did it again.

Dave Coulter, 33, is one of 20 college students that earned a 2014 NASA Center Internship at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif, through an Oregon Space Grant. Last year as a second-year PCC physics student, Coulter reaped an Oregon NASA Space Grant Consortium (OSGC)-funded summer internship, plus a $7,000 scholarship, at the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. He will present his summer jet propulsion research work at the Oregon Space Grant Student Symposium on Nov. 14 at Oregon State University. Coulter was competitively selected by NASA scientists to participate and was chosen from thousands of students who applied from across the country.
