Career Pathways hosts its annual job fair at Southeast Center

PCC’s Career Pathways is hosting its Fourth Annual Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 14, in the Great Hall, Mt. Tabor Building, Southeast Center. Portland-area employers that will be on hand will be hiring for jobs in accounting, HVAC, office, pharmacy tech, care giving, CNA, customer service, logistics, transportation, sales and more.
There will be a free workshop, “How to Get the Most Out of Job Fairs,” from 9-10 a.m in Room 143, Mt. Tabor. Parking is limited. The Southeast Center is serviced by Tri-Met bus route numbers 4 & 72. For more information, e-mail cp@pcc.edu, or call (971) 722-6218.
The Portland Community College Career Pathways Program has built pathways in a number of industries in partnership with the local workforce investment board, other community colleges, local employers, the state department of health and human services, and other entities. Career Pathways offers training that leads to credentials in a range of industries and serves 1,300 students per year.
Career Pathways was recently highlighted by the White House as a model workforce training program.
