Full +STEAM ahead for OMSI’s Mini Maker Faire

The PCC student club called +STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) is inviting faculty and students to attend the Portland Mini Maker Faire Sept. 13-14 at Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI).

Volunteers would help staff PCC’s Maker booth and show off their projects. The event is filled with booths presenting robots, lasers, R2-D2 clones, tesla coils, 3D printers, industry representatives, and much more.

I just want to thank all participants. You are a great inspiration to future generations…

My two sons often open up electronics and make their own little contraptions. :) They dream of becoming Robotic Engineers and can’t wait to see what you have prepared for the faire!
