The proceeds from this concert will help fund the Rock Creek Campus’ choir program. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and kids under 16. Admission is free for PCC students and staff. The Rock Creek Choir, under the direction of Pollyanna Hancock-Moody and comprised of PCC students and members of the community, invite you to sit down with a bag of popcorn and hum along as they sing songs from “The Hobbit,” “Frozen,” “Sister Act II,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “Pitch Perfect,” and of course, Disney’s Princess songs. For the “Plus” portion for the concert the audience will enjoy a lively version of “Ob-la-di Ob-la-da’ by the Beatles. For the finale, the choir will be joined by the Children’s Choir from the German International School.
This concert is intended to raise awareness about the campus’ music program. Rock Creek offers vocal classes as well as a community choir on Thursday evenings. All singers are welcome.
