MiniFair to offer opportunities for faculty, staff and students to travel, study

Photos and story by

PCC and the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) are co-sponsoring an International Education Week MiniFair and Passport Caravan from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17 in the PAC Lobby, Sylvania Campus.

The MiniFair will feature information tables providing information about international opportunities for PCC students, faculty and staff; international food; live music; and cultural demonstrations by PCC students. The college community is encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about study abroad programs that are available.

As part of their commitment to lowering barriers and increasing access to international exchange, CIEE is also sponsoring 50 free passports (normally $135) for PCC students. Agents from the Portland passport office will be on site during the fair, and students who registered in advance will have appointments to receive their free passports throughout the day.
