Thanks to large NSF grant funding, STEAM Lab opens doors at Rock Creek

Photos and story by

It’s official. The STEAM Lab (MakerSpace) is now open for business in Room 102,  Building 2, Rock Creek Campus. Students, faculty, staff and PCC Board members and Foundation guests were on hand to mark the occasion, which also helped to honor Rock Creek’s 40th birthday. Congratulations to Dorina Cornea-Hasegan and the Microelectronics Technology Program team.

The lab is part of Cornea-Hasegan’s NSF grant that is funding the new Mentoring in Manufacturing Technology Program (MeMT).
