55 and over explore your world with Elderhostel

TIGARD, Ore. – Senior citizens have an opportunity to join their peers for travel in more than 100 countries. Elderhostel, the world’s largest educational travel organization for seniors, features thousands of programs to experience people and places all over the world. Discover how you can get involved by attending a Portland Community College non-credit lecture series this spring. Adventures in Lifelong Learning: World as a Classroom Series will feature six guest lecturers, each a person who has traveled with Elderhostel in the past. Highlights will include the field trips, special events and cultural visits that are enjoyed by more than 200,000 participants each year. View slide shows of the places you’ve always wanted to visit. The lecture series will be held from 7 to 8:15 p.m., Thursdays, April 3 through May 8, at the Tigard Senior Center, 8815 S.W. O’Mara Road. Cost is $4 per lecture or $20 for the full series.
