Photos and Story by

TIGARD, Ore. – Nadia Krushelnitska knows how to give a great massage. After training in her native country of Russia, Krushelnitska has mastered the art of ancient European techniques especially designed to relieve aching muscles and promote healing. Now, through a Portland Community College non-credit class, you can learn these techniques for yourself. Massage for Health and Stress Reduction will feature eight sessions of massage lessons, focusing on unique Russian and Swedish styles. Krushelnitska will lead students through hands-on practice; couples are encouraged to sign up together. Students are asked to bring blankets and wear light clothes. The class will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays, March 31 through May 19, at Fowler Middle School, 10865 S.W. Walnut St. Cost is $62.
