PCC Southeast Center offers t'ai chi class for seniors

PORTLAND, Ore. – T’ai chi has been know for centuries to increase flexibility and stamina while reducing stress. This spring Portland Community College will offer this non-credit class especially for seniors.T’ai Chi for Seniors will increase your movement and make you feel energized and relaxed. Instructor Stephanie Whitechurch will teach a concise, graceful short form in a supportive and fun environment."T’ai chi is a great way to stimulate your mind as well as your body,"said Julie Wolleck, PCC Community Education manager. "PCC’s dance room at the new Southeast Center inspires the process with its sunlight and calming atmosphere."The five-week class will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, March 31 through April 28, in Room 102 of Mt.
