The best season in PCC basketball history now has an even happier ending. Warren Edmondson, a key figure in the Panthers’ drive to a first-ever Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges championship, signed a letter of intent on May 6 to play for Montana State University – Northern.

“I definitely have a good feel for their program that’s seen a lot of success,” Edmondson said. “I think I can add to that success myself.”

MSU – Northern, located in Havre, Mont., plays in the Frontier Conference of the NAIA Division II, along with Eastern Oregon and Southern Oregon universities, among others.

“We’re very excited for Warren to get this opportunity,” said PCC Men’s Basketball Head Coach Tony Broadous. “He did a great job of developing his game and being a great student in his two years here. All his hard work paid off.”
