PCC Class Explores the Internet

The ins and outs of navigating the Internet will be covered in a non-credit class offered days and evenings this winter by Portland Community College.Each session of the six-week class will focus on a different aspect of the Internet, including how to conduct a search, access and download information and create bookmarks. Students may sign up for one or all sessions.The day sessions of Internet in Action: Research on the Web will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Fridays, Jan. 26 through March 2, at the Neighborhood House, 7688 S.W. Capitol Highway, Portland. Cost for the entire day class is $58. Cost for individual day sessions is $15. The evening sessions will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 31 through March 7, at Lake Oswego High School, 2501 S.W. Country Club Road, Lake Oswego. Cost for the entire evening series is $85. Cost for individual evening sessions is $18.
