PCC Sponsors Trip to Costa Rica

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – A free informational session on Portland Community College’s February 2002 trip to Costa Rica, Outdoor Ecology of Costa Rica, will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 at the Lake Oswego Public Library, 706 Fourth Ave. Individuals will have an opportunity to learn about the natural wonders of Costa Rica, from exotic wildlife to the arenal volcano and rain forest ecology.The trip is scheduled for Feb. 3 through 10, 2002. The informational session will provide an overview of the trip itinerary, which includes visits to national parks, rainforests and coral reefs. Participants will also visit the University of Costa Rica and hear lectures at a Costa Rican ecology institute. Cost of the tour is $1,975, which includes airfare from Portland, accommodations, meals, and tours as specified within the itinerary.For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-731-6622.
