Navigate Relationship Pitfalls in ?Crash Course'

PORTLAND, Ore. – Charting your way to a successful relationship often depends on more than instinct. Portland Community College’s new Crash Course for Relationships teaches specific, actionable techniques to help you move from challenges toward healthy, fulfilling partnerships. The three-part, non-credit series will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, from April 2 through April 16 at Lincoln High School, 1600 S.W. Salmon St. Cost is $35. Instructor Marie Kurtright will lead insightful discussions that include the following:Red Flags and Green Lights (April 2) – how to slow down the process of being "swept off your feet."State of the Union (April 9) – how to recognize abusive patterns.Healthy Attachments (April 16) – how to assess safety in relationships and explore expectations."This course is a ?must take’ for those looking to foster healthy relationships,"saysAnn Van Orman, PCC Community Education manager.
