Mosaic Class Puts the Pieces Together for Redecorating

HILLSBORO, Ore. – A one-day, non-credit class Mosaic Art Workshop, offered by Portland Community College will provide the fundamentals of mosaic design and how to approach larger scale projects. Yvonne DeHart teaches students how to incorporate this ancient art form into modern home decorating. Students will conclude the workshop by accomplishing a completed mosaic art project. The offering will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Paint A Brighter Day, 222 East Main St. Cost is $18.
