PCC Course Examines Naturopathic Medicine

PORTLAND, Ore. – A series of lectures on naturopathic approaches to food allergies, digestion, nutrition and disease will be delivered this spring in a Portland Community College non-credit course. This Naturopathic Medicine Series will detail the healing properties of plants and offer instruction for incorporating natural medicine into your health care regime.Lecture titles in the series include: "Naturopathic Medicine Overview,""Food Allergies,""Digestion: the Key to Health,""Nutrition and Cancer,"and "Depression."The lectures will be offered from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, April 4 through May 2, in Room 224 of Grant High School, 2245 N.E. 36th Ave. Cost is $45 for the series or $15 per lecture.For more information, contact PCC Community Education at 503-978-5753.
