Bottle your own wine with PCC class

PORTLAND, Ore. – What could better at a dinner party than serving your own bottled blend of wine? A Portland Community College class can develop your palate and turn you into a winemaker in just one night.Wine Tasting and Blending, a non-credit class, will focus on the intricacies of tasting and identifying great wines. Students will learn food pairing combinations for enhancing both red and white wines, then blend their own wine using three different varietals. You will come home with a customized bottle to set on your table.The class will meet from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 23, at Urban Wine Works, 407 N.W. 16th.
