Online investing class charts course for smooth retirement sailing

PORTLAND, Ore. – It’s true: save sooner, retire sooner. So how do you navigate the stock market during these turbulent times to successfully reach the shores of leisure? A Portland Community College non-credit class can help you map out the right plan this summer.Stocks, Bonds, Investing, Oh My!, an online class, will stress the importance of preemptive planning and how you can benefit from taking control now. Learn what all the jargon surrounding financial markets means and develop an understanding of how markets operate and how trades work. For those who don’t feel comfortable investing on their own, the class will explain proven methods for outsourcing investing decisions to the right professional. Instructor Aaron Clay will uncover the secrets pros use to analyze stocks in an easy-to-follow online format."My brain used to freeze when it came to discussing my finances and investments with a professional,"said one online student evaluation. "Now I am confident in the research I must do in advance to select promising stocks and mutual funds for a more balanced portfolio.
