One Year, Part-time Temporary Instructional Computer Specialist Opportunity

The Computer Education Program of the Extended Learning Campus has an Academic Professional opening for a part-time temporary, one year Instructional Computer Specialist position (October 2008 to October 2009).
The Computer Education Program provides non-credit computer training to persons who are seeking job skills or IT Certification in the areas of workplace applications, networking, programming, database administration and development, web design and general operating system skills. The position develops curriculum for CEU courses, hires and mentors instructors, coordinates the logistics of the courses, researches new IT Certifications and implements the new technology for the courses.
The position works 20 hours per week, year round, and is part of a team dedicated to providing current technology training to students. For more information about the Computer Education Program, please visit: www.computers.pcc.edu
Under Article 3.64 of the Faculty and Academic Professional Agreement, this position is being opened to allow current part time employees in the subject area, as well as full-time Faculty with temporary appointments in the subject area, and other college employees, to apply.
