Photos and story by

SYLVANIA – Fitness programs are always high on the list of New Year’s resolutions, but the Oregon winters don’t make it easy to stick with an exercise program. Starting Monday, Jan. 8, PCC is a offering Beginning/Intermediate Fitness and Indoor Walking class for one PE credit, and the course will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday of the term. The new class will give students an excellent opportunity to attain goals by offering a wide range of benefits such as improving cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and stress reduction. All of this is accompanied by music in the warmth and comfort of the HT Building’s gymnasium. The class will end Wednesday, March 14. For more information about this class, contact David Renne, PCC instructor in physical education, at 503-977-4209. To register, call 503-977-4933.
