PCC Polynesian Cultural Show Showcases Cuisine, Culture

SYLVANIA CAMPUS – For fine Polynesian food and authentic traditional cultural dances look no farther than Portland Community College. The college presents the Third Annual Polynesian Cultural Show from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 27 in the College Center Building’s cafeteria on the Sylvania Campus, located at 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. A Polynesian cuisine luncheon will be served at noon and there will be entertainment provided by Portland’s own "Treasures of Polynesia."The cost of the lunch buffet is $5 with $1.50 from each ticket sale benefiting the PCC Multicultural Center Scholarship Fund. Tickets can be purchased in advance beginning Monday, April 9 at the Sylvania Multicultural Center, located in room 202 of the CC Building. This event has been made possible by the Polynesian Cultural Show Planning Committee, the PCC Diversity Fund, PCC Food Services, Student Programs & Involvement Network, History Department, Women’s Resource Center, Collective Voice Student Organization, and the Multicultural Center.
