Donate your old refrigerator magnets!

Have you found yourself staring at a large flat magnet designed to advertise something? You do not want it, but what can you do with it?  They are hard to recycle, but it doesn’t seem quite right to put it in the trash. Or maybe you have a stack of them in a drawer, waiting for a craft project that has yet to happen?

If you have flat sheet magnets of any size, the PCC’s Sylvania Campus’ Biology Department needs them! BI 211 is going to use the magnets to build a study aid. The class wants to learn a complex metabolic pathway and re-purpose something to keep it out of the trash!

Bring your clean, sheet magnets to the Environmental Center CC215 or the Sylvania Life Science Office HT 305 by Friday, February 20th. Thank you!
