4/14 – Library Sustainability Exhibit

  • ALL WEEK –> Rock Creek, Building 9, Library
  • check out the sustainability display and learn how you can save the world!

4/15 – Craft Fair and Learning Garden Plant Sale

  • 10:00am – 2:00pm –> Rock Creek, Building 3, Mall
  • get your veggie starts and enjoy the fair at our DIY paper making booth!

– Art Gladiators: “Vehicles of Change”

  • 2:00 – 5:00pm –> Rock Creek, Building 3, Mall / Stage
  • join this 3D art contest and build a “vehicle of change” out of reusable materials
  • prizes given to contest winners –> 5 x $50 gift cards -1st / 5 x $20 gift cards

4/17 – Sustainability Panel: Stories about Environmental Adventures, Hope, and Spirit

  • 12:00 – 1:30pm –> Rock Creek, Building 9, Event Center, Room C & B
  • panelists: Elaine Cole, Nora Lindsey, Jeffery Mailes, Will Hornyak

4/18 – Learning Garden Open House: Work for Pizza Exchange

  • 10:00am – 2:00pm –> Rock Creek, Learning Garden (across the st. from bldg. 9)
  • prizes given to clubs with highest participation –> $150 – 1st/$100-2nd/$50-3rd
  • artist reception featuring learning garden sculptors @ 1pm
  • earthen oven demonstration with FREE wood fired pizza @ 2pm

Open to PCC students and staff our Lunch N’ Learn workshop series is a fun way to learn some organic gardening basics. Join us this Spring and learn how to prepare a garden bed, start your own seedlings, and arrange beautiful flower bouquets! As always, feel free to bring us yourgarden questions, we are here for you!

Here it is: the much anticipated Spring volunteer schedule! Take note of the shaded areas and mark your calendars. The shaded zones represent times when either Jeffery or Nora will be leading work parties out in the garden. No need to RSVP just show up! Remember to bring your closed toed shoes and dress for the weather!
